Apply for the Energy Savings Assistance Program (ESA)

Apply for the program by completing the form below. If you qualify to participate, a representative from the Energy Savings Assistance Program will contact you to schedule a home assessment. At that time, you must also provide proof of participation in a qualifying Public Assistance Program or proof of income.
PG&E Account Number
Your PG&E account number is the 11-digit number
found at the top of your PG&E bill or in your online
PGE account. Please enter all 11 digits and the
hyphen. Your PG&E account must include residential
electric service for you to be eligible.
The rebate applicant must be the customer whose
name appears on an active PG&E account. PG&E
customers can apply on behalf of members of their
household or tenants whose electric vehicle is
registered at the address on the PG&E account.
Vehicle Owner Name
Please enter the name that appears on the vehicle
Vehicle Identification Number (VIN)
Your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) is a unique
17-character identifier, shown on your vehicle
registration card or your vehicle purchase/lease
Make, Model, And Year
Please select the make, model and year of your
vehicle from the drop-down menus. All vehicles
eligible for the rebate are included in this list.
Your vehicle registration dates are shown on your
registration card. The date of the rebate application
(today) must fall within the current registration
period of your qualified electric vehicle.
If you paid the registration fees at vehicle purchase/
lease and haven’t received your registration card yet,
enter your purchase/lease date as the start date and
one year later as the end date.
